Hey team, this is James – Head Trainer and one of our Nutrition Coaches for the SCALE Plan operation. ???
James is a Personal Trainer with over 7 years’ experience, and now runs his own studio. James is passionate about health and mental well-being and believes that everyone deserves to live a fulfilling, healthy, and happy life. As well as his day-to-day coaching, he’s also worked with the NHS to pilot exercise schemes for people suffering with mental health issues, and is also one of the first trainers in the UK to be qualified to coach people with sight impairments.
James has also been on a personal journey with training and nutrition. It wasn’t until he hit his 30s that he found his health was at an all-time low and he was struggling with obesity. So he joined a gym and made some other simple changes to his nutrition and lifestyle, to get to where he is today. James understands that weight-loss is not an overnight process, and that changes need to be made that are sustainable and suitable for every individual person.
As well as his enjoyment of everything food and fitness James likes to spend his free time with his wife Rachel and 10 year old son Ollie. He also enjoys playing the guitar and surfing among other sports.
